External confidential adviser

Not everything is easy to raise with your manager or with HR. When things start to grate, when someone is dealing with inappropriate behaviour or has doubts about a colleague’s integrity, it helps to have somewhere outside the organisation to turn to. Someone who listens without any stake in the outcome.

Through Capability, you can easily connect an LVV-certified external confidential adviser to your organisation. You give employees a confidential point of contact for inappropriate behaviour, integrity concerns and psychosocial workload (the Dutch PSA). And you make your responsibility for a socially safe workplace tangible, without having to train or free up anyone yourself.

Why an external confidential adviser?

Most people don’t come forward straight away with whatever is bothering them. They hesitate: is this serious enough, what happens to what I share, will it really stay between us? A confidential adviser from outside lowers that threshold. No role in the line, no stake in the outcome, but the time and the training to hold the right conversation. Think of bullying, discrimination, (sexual) harassment, aggression or a question of integrity: situations where a neutral point of contact makes the difference between bottling something up and being able to talk about it.

What does a confidential adviser do?

A confidential adviser listens, without judgement and without passing anything on. Together you look at what is going on and which steps are possible, with the employee staying in control throughout. If patterns or risks come to the surface, the adviser flags them and advises management and HR on prevention. That is how you build a culture in which people feel safe enough to speak up, before something grows into more.

  2. We connect a suitable, LVV-certified confidential adviser to your organisation.
  3. You receive a communications kit, so employees know where to turn.
  4. From that moment, everyone has an independent point of contact, ready for when it is needed.

Costs

Are you a Capability client? Then there are no set-up costs. You only pay for actual time spent: reports, support and advice at an hourly rate of €178 per hour (excluding VAT). So you only pay when something genuinely comes up, while the service stands ready for the moment it matters.
